Why Early Access?

“We want the players to take an active part in the development - after all, the game is for them. With all important mechanics and features in place for the Early Access release, we will use the player's feedback to guide the game in the best possible direction. Everwind is something we want to make not FOR the players, but WITH the players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate at least a year of Early Access at this point.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to introduce gradual content updates over the course of Early Access. Those will include both our planned improvements/extra features and changes brought by community feedback. Namely, the development goals include: more variety of items for crafting (both tools and decorations), new enemies, new islands and a farming system!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Every basic, important game mechanics will work on Early Access launch. Both singleplayer and multiplayer gameplay will be possible. We are aiming at a very strong Early Access, not a half-complete beta. As such, everything you can read in the "About This Game" section, is already in game!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Steam forums, our social media and community hubs (like Discord) will be used to gather and discuss player feedback. These media will also be used by us to reveal and talk about future development plans. We will also keep the community up to date with Steam news posts.”
