Information about the shutdown of Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera
1. Can I still play Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera?
No. Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera required an online connection to game servers in order to play. Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera shut down on September 21, 2023, and the game servers are no longer be available.
2. How did the shutdown affect my progress, inventory, and purchased content?
With the game servers shut down, Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera game progression and inventories are no longer accessible. However, any purchased content that is accessible in Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® (2019), Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War, or Call of Duty®: Vanguard will still be available in those games on the same account used to play Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera.
3. What happened to my COD Points?
COD Points remain on the platform on which they were purchased. Previously purchased COD Points are transferable between Call of Duty® games on the same platform on your linked Activision account.
Please note: You can only spend COD Points on the platform on which they were purchased, but items you purchase with COD Points are shared across all platforms linked to your Activision account.
4. Did the Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera shutdown impact other COD games?
Call of Duty: Warzone™ and all other Call of Duty games are separate experiences and were not affected by the Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera shutdown.
5. What will happen if I launch Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera?
The game will attempt to connect to game servers that are not available, so you will receive a connection error.
6. Will Warzone Caldera come back?
There are currently no plans to relaunch Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera. To free up hard drive space, we recommend deleting Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera from your console or PC.
