| The Black Desert OST Takes on New Life Through Jazz | The Pearl Abyss Audio Department is working on creating the "Radio System" to allow people to enjoy various versions of the official Black Desert soundtracks. ✦ Our First Project - Jazz ✦ In celebration of International Jazz Day on April 30, we are releasing four official soundtracks from the world of Black Desert that were reborn through jazz. ✦ Executive director Hwiman Ryu majored in Jazz music and continued to apply jazz techniques to the vast array of genres he composed. He found the development of this new system as his chance to compose jazz soundtracks. He worked closely with the jazz pianist Mi Jung Lim, his fellow alumnus from the Seoul Institute of the Arts, to recreate these jazz arrangements, performances, and recordings. | Soundtracks | ✦ Balenos 42nd Street, Sunday in Serendia, Mediahn Panorama These tunes carry an upbeat, exotic, and modern vibe that is unique to jazz. Executive director Hwiman Ryu composed these soundtracks and pianist Mi Jung Lim arranged them in the style of New York jazz. These tracks were performed as a jazz quintet of piano, contrabass, drums, trumpet, and saxophone. ✦ Olvian Blue This soundtrack was composed as a melodic and moving jazz tune. Her first album "Flying" was released in 2003, and she has worked with Tom Harrell (trumpet), George Garzone (saxophone), and other famous musicians that are well-known among enthusiasts.
