Why Early Access?

“We knew from the start of development that the journey to Nightingale would be unique. Experiences on the scale of Nightingale thrive from feedback and we've learned that working directly with players during development makes for a better game. While our Early Access release will deliver a fulfilling experience that players deserve, it also allows us to work in tandem with the community to explore new gameplay opportunities, while incrementally adding new features and fixes to the game (including adding an offline mode). We hope you come join us on this journey.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently predict that Nightingale will be in Early Access for 9-12 months. However, we don’t want to stick to a date and underdeliver on the experience. We’ll make sure that Nightingale will only leave Early Access when it’s ready.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We anticipate that Nightingale will evolve and expand significantly throughout Early Access, including the addition of more story content, new realm biomes to explore, as well as the introduction of the fabled City of Nightingale itself.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the beginning of Early Access the following features and content will be available. However, this is subject to change and everything featured is work in progress:

- A multitude of realms to explore across three different biome types (forest, desert and swamp)
- A large variety of creature types to hunt - from the smallest rabbit through to imposing Apex creatures
- Comprehensive building and crafting tools, alongside estate management
- Progression system spanning all aspects of gameplay
- Solo and online cooperative play up to six players”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No current plans but we will evaluate a price increase during Early Access and communicate any changes ahead of a 1.0 release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Early Access is an opportunity for the whole community to participate in the ongoing development of Nightingale. That’s why we encourage our Early Access users to join our Discord where they can interact directly with the development team and have a hand in how the game grows in the future. We’ll also be listening to players across our social media channels, and keeping a close eye on the Steam Community forums.”

Nightingale is a PVE open-world survival crafting game played solo or cooperatively with friends. Become a Realmwalker and reignite the ancient Crossway portals, journeying through corrupted forests, gravity-torn deserts, and beyond.

Build, craft, fight, and discover as you venture through mystical portals into the beautiful and dangerous Faewilds. Battle through the depths of perilous dungeons, face formidable bosses, and explore a labyrinth of immersive otherworldly Realms.

In moments of respite, build yourself a vast estate using a variety of tilesets, and furnish it with all manner of decor, workstations, and comforts.

As you master Fae magick, harness the power of Realm Cards and unlock further challenges across procedurally-generated worlds teeming with adventure.

Prepare to make your way through Faewild forests, harrowing swamps, and shimmering deserts as you unlock the portals leading deeper into the lands of Fae. Cook meals, build shelter and muster the spirit to persevere in the face of adversity.

Craft tools to harvest trees, ore, and plants, along with rarer resources found deep in the realms. Discover new schematics and assemble the equipment and weapons you need to survive. Using specialized ingredients and arcane technologies, you can enhance your gear with magical properties.
