This #WorldBreastfeedingWeek, we’re shining a light on the reality for mothers in Gaza, who are doing everything they can to keep their children alive. Mothers are worried about breastfeeding, not because they don’t want to, but because they don’t have the privacy, food or support they need. Malnutrition, dehydration and relentless trauma are making it nearly impossible for mothers to care for themselves and their babies. We’re calling for a ceasefire now and full humanitarian access so mothers can feed, nourish and protect their babies.
