NBA Infinite Championship Chase Update features the new Hoop Hustle mode, new player cards, a fresh training feature, and optimization for ranked game modes. We’re also sharing details on the new season titles to be awarded at the end of Season 2!

New Mode: Hoop Hustle

The new Hoop Hustle mode is designed for solo players, pitting simulated teams of NBA stars from across the server against each other on a mode-exclusive leaderboard. Hone your on-court strategies and activate your team’s Finisher Skills in a fast-paced 5v5 match.

General Rules
- Challenge Attempts: Spend Challenge Attempts to select a challenger and enter a Hoop Hustle match. Three free Challenge Attempts are replenished daily and three additional Challenge Attempts can be purchased.
- Hoop Hustle Points: You will gain Hoop Hustle points when you win a game and lose points when you lose a game. These points dictate your position in the Hoop Hustle leaderboard.
Game Rules
- Format: Matches are conducted in a 5v5 simulation game format with only starting players participating. Each match lasts for 3 minutes and ties are decided by a golden ball period during which the next basket wins the match.
- Synergy Skills: In Hoop Hustle, each NBA star has 1-3 Synergy Skills. Combining different Synergy Skills can enhance player performance and increase your team’s rating.
- Team Rating: This is a measurement of your Hoop Hustle team’s power. Select well-developed starters for this lineup to generate a team rating. Adjusting the team’s composition based on players’ Synergy Skills helps to maximize the team’s rating.
- Finisher Skills: While most of a Hoop Hustle match plays out automatically, you decide when to activate your players’ Finisher Skills. These abilities charge up as the player makes plays (shooting, passing, blocking, etc.) in the match. Once fully charged, they can use their Finisher Skill. Finisher Skills are divided into offensive types which make the player take a shot and defensive types which make the player defend against the ball handler. Different players have different Finisher Skill effects and some even have their own exclusive Finisher Skills.
Tasks and Rewards
- Initiating a set number of Hoop Hustle matches daily grants rewards of Gold and Diamonds.
- Actions taken during Hoop Hustle matches contribute towards completing certain tasks, activities, and achievements.
- Climb the leaderboard to earn huge prizes worthy of a champion!

New Player Cards

New additions include Playoff version of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Tyrese Haliburton, along with Epic and Rare stars Paulo Banchero, Anthony Edwards, Evan Fournier, Mikal Bridges, and Alperen Şengün.

The new generation is taking over the league! Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Tyrese Haliburton have evolved into top-tier guards among the league's core players.
Shai Gelgeious-Alexander dominates the court with sharp pacing plus increasing speed and agility to execute stop-and-go drives from behind for both straightforward breakthroughs and change-of-direction penetrations.
Tyrese Haliburton can leverage his unique ball-handling effects to unleash a fluid offensive play, assisting teammates in quick pick-and-rolls or pop-outs. His rapid passing speeds up ball movement and allows for no-look passes!

New Feature: Power Up

A new training feature called Power Up has been added, allowing players to consult it any time for advice on player and lineup development as well as to quickly access active events. The feature also includes an NBA Infinite gameplay guide that explains game mechanics and much more.

New Seasonal Honorary Titles

Starting with Season 2, outstanding ballers will receive the following in-game titles per server to boast their achievements. There’s still time to claim these special titles from the competition - Season 2 ends June 13 at 1:00 AM Pacific!

Season Leaders
- Granted to the top player in each stat category (scoring, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks) during the season.
- Reward: S2 Leader Title (x5 per server)
All-NBA Infinite Team
- Granted to the players with the most MVPs earned while playing a particular position (center, point guard, shooting guard, power forward, and small forward) in ranked games during the season.
- Reward: S2 All-NBA Infinite Team Title (x5 per server)
Season MVP
- Granted to the player with the most MVPs won in ranked games during the season.
- 1 player from each server.
- Reward: S2 MVP Title (x1 per server)
Rookie of the Season
- Granted to the highest ranking new player who created their account during the season.
- Reward: Rookie of the Season Title (x1 per server)
Most Improved Player
- Granted to the highest ranking returning player during the season who was inactive during the previous season. (For Season 2 only, players below Reserves rank during the previous season are eligible.)
- Reward: Most Improved Player Title (x1 per server)

Existing Feature Optimizations

Team-up Feature
- Players can quickly join the team they want to by accessing the Recruitment Hall through the chat or the team interface. Players who are already in a team can now quickly join another player's team that is recruiting.
Rank-up Screen
- Optimized the rank upgrade animation.
Exchange Event
- Added an exchange reminder feature where selected items are highlighted with a red dot when available for exchange.
Clubs
- The club list now includes a preview of trial players available after joining the club.
- Trial players may now only be used for three matches within three hours.
- The activity level of club members is displayed in the member list and related club management screens.
Control Optimization
- Enhanced dribbling control responsiveness.
- Removed the backward dribble action when facing the basket. Now when moving away from the basket while facing it, the backward dribble action will no longer be used.
- Removed small-angle dribbling turn actions. Now slight adjustments in movement direction will not trigger separate turning actions, resulting in smoother performance.

Dynasty Mode Changes

Introduced a mechanism to disrupt sideline free throws where the defender of the thrower can tap the defense button to interfere during sideline throws.
Added the 3-point play tactic along with corresponding minor skills such as Triple Repeat and Horns-3.
Enhanced both offensive and defensive tactics effectiveness.
Enhanced camera movement and effects for opening broadcasts in Dynasty Mode.
Improved AI performance and difficulty levels.
Optimized all tactical positioning strategies.
Refined content for beginners' guide in Dynasty Mode.
Added new player animations.
Added referee animations.
Added Dynasty Training Camp where players can engage in operational and tactical training.
Added a tactical recommendation pop-up window to allow quick access to tactics during matches.
Added a new feature to allow swapping tactics during the matches.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where some players could not enter the game after a game update.
Fixed an issue where custom UI settings could not be saved.
Fixed an issue with James Harden's step-back move without dribbling continuously.
Fixed an inconsistency between the star player chosen before a match and the one played during the game.
Fixed an issue in Ranked Mode where players would lose stars even after winning.
Fixed an issue where event tabs would automatically refresh, preventing staying on a fixed page.
Corrected multiple translation errors.

New Mechanics

Absolute Open Shot

If there are no defenders within 5 meters (16.4ft) when taking an open shot, an additional FG% bonus is granted. If there are no defenders within 3-5 meters (9.8 ft-16.4 ft), a slight additional FG% bonus is granted. The higher the player’s shooting attribute, the greater the bonus which can reach up to a maximum of 100%. No bonus is granted if the player’s shooting attribute is below 500.

Quick Pass

If the receiver is in an open position when a pass occurs, a quick pass might be triggered with probability depending on the passer's passing attribute. The receiver gets a 10% FG% bonus for 3 seconds after the quick pass.

Gain the ability to perform a reverse dunk from the baseline.

Flashy Pass (Level 2)

Flashy Pass (Level 2) offers additional passing moves from more angles than Flashy Pass (Level 1).

Stride Shot (Level 2)

Gain the ability to activate a flashy and unexpected Stride Shot by simultaneously pushing the left joystick forward and tapping the shoot button during a pump fake or two-handed hold.

Backing Down Hop Step

Gain the ability to activate Backing Down Hop Step while in a post-up by pulling the left joystick in any direction and holding the crossover button.

Moving Step-Back Action Package

Gain the ability to activate Moving Step-Back by pulling the left joystick down and tapping the crossover button during a fast dribble.

Game Modes

Ranked 3v3 Mode

Added a new Wheel Select pass feature.

Passing in ranked 3v3 mode can be modified in the Settings menu.

The 3v3 jump ball position has been moved from outside the 3-point line to inside the 3-point line. The player with the ball needs to step outside the three-point line.
If your matchmaking rank is above Superstar, the same Player Cards can no longer be picked by both teams.

All

Pick-and-Roll is no longer allowed while in the paint.
A standing dunk under the basket now requires holding down the shoot button for a longer time. If the defender is in a jumping animation, the dunk is considered uncontested.
Slightly lowered the success rate of defended alley-oop dunks.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where some shooting effects were unusable.
Fixed an issue where Player Cards could not be purchased after obtaining a trial Player Card.

Other

Added a new left-handed post-up shot animation for left-handed players.
